Compact way to have multiple weigthts
I think for most people this will cover all your weight needs. Yeah, the design of the weight pieces mean you get some weird weights like 13, 22, and 31 lbs. If you had a discrete set it would be more like 15, 20 or 25, and 30, but in the end it doesn’t really matter.The box is HEAVY. I ended up taking it out of the box at my front door instead of carrying the whole thing up the stairs. They come fully assembled.I thought mine were defective at first, until I read that they need to be on the plastic holder before you can rotate the handle for the different weights.. The weigh is some type of metal. Most of the rest of the dumbbell is either nylon or ABS. You dod have to line them up pretty close to slide the handle back in. Rotating the handle to select different weights is really easy. I even like the square plates, meaning you can set them down without them rolling away, or even use them for pushups.I’m really happy with these.

Great space saving option for home gyms
In a perfect world all of our home gyms would be spacious, well lit, fresh scented, inspirational studios that make us want to spend our leisure time in them. Sadly the reality is that a fitness space is just one of the demands that real people have for our living spaces and fitness usually falls well below other needs like eating, sleeping and general recreation time. Enter the garage/closet gym!With limited space, items that efficiently make room for training like folding treadmills or these space saving multi-weight dumbbells are really nice to have alternatives.Pros:- The adjustment technology works very well to add/remove weight plates, is super easy and feels secure/locked in place- I love the space saving nature of having half a rack of dumbbells in a 16” footprint- I like the feel of the grip in my hands. The texture makes it not prone to getting slippery when I’ve been working hard and have sweaty palms.- The coloration and minimal branding make the weight unobtrusive and (dare I say it?) sleekly attractiveI have some fairly minor cons for this item however:- While the adjustable weight feature is easy to set and change, sometimes the bar vs weight plates in the stand are not aligned and require the user to stop to get the weights back into correct alignment on the weight stand/base plate- Many users will want a second dumbbell for traditional weight training activities. Of course, a single weight is all you need for many exercises including skull crushers, goblet or Sumo squats or plank pull throughs, walking lunges with pass-through, ab work etc.- The weight adjustments are non-traditional amounts. Although the actual numerical value of a weight technically doesn’t matter as long as you are still challenging yourself, most of us have grown used to the standard increments so it is an adjustment to have amounts that don’t end in increments of 5.- I can’t see a clear differentiator for this brand to command a premium for this product. The adjustable weight technology has been on the market for well over 20 years, and yes, it has advanced/improved. But I am aware of other brands that offer adjustable weight dumbbells (for a pair) at a lower/comparable price point to this single weight.- Lastly it would have been great if the shipping box had had some sort of a grip or handle as it was quite challenging to move a 44 pound box that you really can’t get your hands to grip on/intoOverall:The adjustable weights are a great addition to my fitness gear. I am happy to have a compact way to keep a range of dumbbell weights and am looking forward to continuing to enhance my fitness level in my home gym.

Really cool
Really cool weight set. I love how quick and easy it is to change weight. Makes it great for 2 people so the both can use it at the setting they want. Seems very well made and the weight lockup seems solid. It’s very easy to turn the dial. Overall, this is really a highly recommendable set of arm weights.

tl;dr: These dumbbells are a great set to get started with, the quick adjustment is very smooth and easy and the offer a decent weight for at home use. The only negative is the weight spread – the jumps in weight are a little odd and could be too much for some people. Overall I think these are great value for money for those just starting out.I’m a complete novice weightlifter having only gotten into it recently (in my late 30’s)I bought these for use at home to begin to improve my strength so that I wouldn’t completely embarrass myself at the gym.Positives:- These dumbbells are super easy and quick to change, just a simple click of the handle and you’re ready to go. It makes doing sets of varying weight a lot quicker and easier.- The save so much space – by combining weights into a single package you save on needing a rack with a bunch of dumbbells- Minimal rattle – Unlike my previous dumbbells which used a screw on nut approach these don’t seem to rattle as much, which makes maintaining posture a lot easier.- Metal handles – I like metal handles as I find them easier to grip, though this may be subjectiveNegatives:- It can be a bit fiddly to locate the dumbbells in the base – this tends to be worse at lower weight, the less plates that are in the base the easier it is.- The weight ranges are a little odd – the weight goes from 2 -> 4.5 -> 7 -> 9.5 -> 12 which is a little unusual, it can make increasing load a lot harder than it otherwise would be.

La prise en main est confortable, le revêtement ne glisse pas même avec les mains moites, et le socle reste bien stable pendant l’utilisation.Petit point à noter : il faut bien reposer les haltères dans leur support pour changer de poids correctement. Ce n’est pas un défaut, mais une petite habitude à prendre.Autre bon point : le prix est très raisonnable comparé à ce qu’on trouve actuellement sur le marché pour des produits similaires.Je fais régulièrement des achats liés au sport et j’apprécie les articles bien pensés comme celui-ci, à la fois pratiques, bien finis et accessibles.
