This is my second time purchasing this foam roller, which says a lot. It has the perfect density to really massage and release tension in my muscles.When I needed another foam roller, I didn’t even consider other options. I just went straight for this one again. Great Basic Foam Roller
This roller is a really great economic choice. It is just as supportive as the ones at PT’s office. I love the length, and the firmness. It really helps me do PT exercises at home. It is also so light weight that it’s easy to throw in a closet when you need it out of the way.

This is the STIFF foam roller for those who need a stiff spinal and back roll. If your back muscles are weak and/or sensitive, don’t get the stiff one.I like the extra long size of this one, and the stiffness to get those nice back cracks, and deep tissue myofacial release on muscles like the legs, arms, back, and everywhere you can roll by putting your body weight on it.If you don’t know how to roll out your entire body with a foam roll, be sure to look up a video. It’s versatile, long, large, and stiff for those experienced muscles.Get a softer one though if you aren’t working your muscles hard regularly.

If you are looking at these Amazon Basics rollers and wondering if they are as good as other rollers you have tried, they absolutely are.I built out my home gym a couple of years ago after spending 25 years in commercial gyms. I have used every type of foam roller imaginable over the years.Rollers that were too soft or had big dimples on them never seemed to work as well as harder rollers. These Amazon Basics rollers looked like the solid type that did not give much when placing your full weight on them while rolling out on it.When they arrived, I knew they were going to be great. The foam had a high quality feel and was very rigid. For context, I am 6’1 210lbs. The roller has no problem keeping its shape and doing its job under my full weight.I have used my roller roughly 5 times a week for the last 2 years and it still looks and feels as good as the day I bought it.
