Disappointing Quality Control -Missing Parts, No Instructions, Replacement Products Mismatched
I’ve been using this dumbbell set for about a week for exercising. The weights themselves feel nice in hand, and the rack is fairly sturdy once assembled. From a basic functionality standpoint, the set has potential and looks good once put together. Unfortunately, there were several issues. The rack arrived with no assembly instructions, so I had to rely on product photos to figure out how the bolts went together. It wasn’t extremely difficult, but clear directions would have been appreciated. Second, it was missing a washer which I had to get a replacement. Third, and most concerning, the set arrived with two pairs of 10-pound weights and no 8-pound weights. After contacting the seller, they did send 8-pound replacements, but the replacements were clearly from a different set and do not match the rest of the weights. Because of the missing items and mismatched replacement weights, the overall experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this set as it currently stands, so I am giving it two stars. Additionally, I would like to return this, but it appears that even though the listing says 30 day returns, I would have to return it at my own cost.

    Original shipment was missing the 5 and 8 lb sets. I contacted the company which was quick to respond. Once I provided the information for my original order the company quickly sent out the missing weights.

    The weights themselves and the stand are good quality. There were no instructions on how to assemble the weight stand. However, I've built enough things from Ikea that I was able to figure it out fairly easily.

    Product came filthy from the rubber molds and stank to high hell. Was such a bummer on Christmas morning to have to do so much cleaning of the dumbbells and my rug where there was transfer.
