Ima Yoga Fitness was started by Nathan (husband) and Mayra (wife) to compliment Mayra’s online yoga studio, Ima Yoga Method.

Nathan is a mechanical and product engineer. Mayra is a prenatal yoga instructor and customer analyst. Together we design, test and develop quality yoga equipment from our Michigan office.

How did we get our start?

Our original designs were targeted to support Mayra’s online yoga studio for pre- and post-natal women; however, we realized the greater benefits for all users from our focus on comfort and natural materials.

What makes our products unique?

We call our products Adaptive. They are adapted for modifying poses in yoga, prenatal yoga, men’s yoga, pilates, stretching & physical therapy.

What does ‘Ima’ mean?

Ima (EEM-ah) means mom or mother.
