Exactly what I was searching for! These are what I considered EXTRA high waisted; they do not sit right above the belly button like some do, these go way higher, up to below the bust/ribcage, covers the back rolls! They are buttery soft, also thick/stretchy and definitely not see through. The pockets are perfect in size and deep. And the colors are so pretty! Definitely going back and buying the 5” and leggings!

YES!!! I love these shorts! Super soft, breathable, and comfortable! They were perfect under my summer dresses on our cruise. Very lightweight. Plus, I never lost my chapstick thanks to the pockets! The color options are great! They do fit a bit on the snug side but the next size up would have been too big. The length is perfect for larger thighs. They did not roll up during any of our hikes & excursions. They will also be great for my rebounding workouts.

For reference, I’m 5’5”, and somewhere between 145-155 lbs. I bought a size M.
Cons:
— These shorts are made of relatively thin material (I feel that’s just inevitable at this price), so you can see underwear lines/ creases and all that. I’m not too bothered by this because depending on the underwear you pick it doesn’t have to be super noticeable.
— All of these shorts gave me major camel toe. In my case, I know it isn’t because I’m pulling them up too high or because I got the wrong size. They fit perfectly, and literally the only way to *not* get camel toe is to pull the shorts way down until they sag below my groin. No thank you. (In the shorts’ defense, I think part of this is my body shape- I often have this problem.) Luckily, this can be easily solved by wearing a panty liner, which is what I’m doing in the photos.
Pros:
— Soft: The shorts are made of incredibly soft, comfortable material. Others have aptly called it “buttery.”
— Good for exercise: The material feels breathable, and the shorts stay in place under a wide range of different movements.
— Pass squat test: I saw other reviews mention sheerness. I personally haven’t had issues with that. All of the colors I got easily pass the squat test. Part of me wonders if reviewers who had issues with sheerness just needed to go a size up?
— Flattering: I think these shorts look very nice. I have a long torso, and these went up well past my belly button. The high waist also makes for mild-moderate tummy control.
That said, I noticed these shorts got very mixed reviews when it comes to tummy control. Here’s what I think the situation is: they DO provide *some* tummy control. But the key word is “some,” as in, mild to moderate. These are NOT high-end shorts that have been designed specifically to compress your tummy. For my purposes and for the price I think that’s perfectly fine. But if you want shorts that will *significantly* compress your tummy or legs, these are not the ones to go for.
Overall: For the price, I think these are fantastic shorts. They are incredibly comfortable and will be great to wear under skirts/dresses, around the house, and while exercising. I’m really happy with this purchase and am relieved to finally have some comfortable shorts I can wear while working out and hiking this summer.

I needed some gym shorts that would pass the squat test, and wouldn't ride up in the crotch, and wouldn't squeeze my chunky thighs. These were not exactly what I wanted. They were super soft, like, omg so soft, they were super stretchy which was nice, and they were a really good length, perfect length, actually, not too short but not too long, and they were REALLY comfortable. But, as far as workout shorts go, these fell a little short. They did not pass the squat test, for reference btw I am 5'6", 150 lbs, and I ordered the small/medium. I normally wear a medium in leggings just to get extra fabric on the back for bending over and squats. These felt super thin, I didn't feel like they covered my backside enough, and I was nervous they would rip if they caught on anything. BUT they didn't ride up on me, and they fit really well. So if you're looking for lounge shorts, or shorts to go under dresses, or even cutsey going out shopping or walks in the park shorts, these are a great buy for the price! I just really needed workout shorts, and these were not them:( So I am returning these shorts because I really don't need 4 pairs of lounge shorts lol! Hopefully this helps because gosh dang it it is really hard to find good leggings online!

So comfy!!! They are so soft, like butter. I’m really short (under 5 foot) and they rest a little above my knees. No sliding around when I’m jumping and running.

Ordering a second set! These are great and so comfortable. Perfect length, nice and thin but not see through. The lighter colors will show sweat though, so be aware of that. Only downside is there are no pockets. They do roll a little when you squat deep, but not a huge deal to me.

These were my favorite shorts ever, super soft, make your body look amazing, so comfortable. I’ve ordered 3 sets of the 4-pack of 5” shorts over the years, and love them (2021-2023).
I just ordered again a few months ago (Nov. 2025), and the fit isn’t the same! They are thicker /less soft than the older version, and the fit is not as good. To clarify, I still have & wear the older versions, so it isn’t a difference in my body. The older version makes your butt look amazing and is so soft and comfortable. The new version has less stretch, is thicker, and compresses your butt/body in a weird way that is not flattering. It just doesn’t fit like it used to.
I think people complained that they were see-through/too thin before, so they made them thicker. They were never see through, and the thinness was great because that’s what made your body look so good and why they were so comfortable! Wish they had a thin/thick version because I would 1000% buy the thin version again, but not this thicker kind. The spandex % is the same for both, so I’m not sure if they switched manufacturers or something else, but I hate the new fit! 3 stars since isn’t terrible, but isn’t as comfortable or flattering.
Please go back to the older version, these were amazing!!! 🙁

Yes I love love them, I highly recommend especially for women with long legs and thick thighs, they aren’t see through, they dont rise up on your thighs or anything, and they pockets are super deep and very high waisted and they material is very stretchy and comfortable. I’m mostly definitely ordering some more in black and in the other colors for the summer and spring time.
