Fitness Alley A-Frame Combo has been made using steel construction. The rack is light weighted, so that makes it easy to be moved and shifted from one place to another. It is compact in design so it takes up the lowest of spaces. The weight slots have rubber covers which prevents any sort of damage to the stand or the weights when they are placed.

SPACE FRIENDLY CONSTRUCTION
The stand has an “A” shaped construction meaning it can be easily used indoors, while using the smallest of floor spaces. It can even be shifted from one place to another quite easily without causing any sort of damage to the floors.
WEIGHT CAPACITY OF 200LB
The weight capacity or the recommended weight that is to be allowed onto the stand is 200lbs. The commercial grade steel ensures that no damage to the stand or the dumbbells will be caused if the weights that are stored are under the weight limit.
SLEEK DESIGN
The design is a sleek one which makes it easy to assemble while it being constructed using heavy duty square tube steel which means that it is quite strong and stable even with the weights racked up. Sturdy and a small footprint
This is a really sturdy stand. Easy to assemble. I have 15 lb, 12 lb, and 10 lbs on mine. I love how compact it is. It is very sturdy and I have had it for almost a year! I highly recommend.

Likely to be the best choice available for a stand alone 3-tier dumbbell rack
This is a great product and worth the extra money compared to the cheaper products available online. I needed a compact dumbbell rack to store my dumbbells in my (very) small apartment, and spent a lot of time researching the various products available online via amazon and other websites. This was really the only viable option that claimed to be sturdy enough (being made of metal) to handle the 48lb total weight of my dumbbells (most of the cheaper options are plastic, and state they are only good up to 30lb). I was hesitant about this product given the many negative reviews about assembly and glue type smells given off by the rack, however given that it seemed to be the most suitable product in terms of functionality, I decided to give it a shot. I didn’t have any of the issues that the other reviewers seemed to struggle with. Assembly was really easy with an adjustable wrench and the Allen key that comes with the assembly kit. I assembled it in less that 20 mins by myself (and I in no way claim to have any special DIY skills). In addition, although there was a slight smell of newly welded metal upon opening the box, this quickly dissipated within minutes, and I’ve had no issues with glue type smells others have complained of. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the product, which is compact and sturdy.

Great way to keep organized
Great way to keep dumbbells organized and off the floor. It freed up a lot of floor space and lets me find the dumbbells I need quickly. My only complaint is that the little bumpers on each side fall off every time I pick up the dumbbells. I would imagine you could either glue them into place or not use them at all if it’s an issue.

Very sturdy!
This was packed so well! Easy to put together, more sturdy than I expected (good thick metal), and the dumbbell tests are plastic not rubber – so I think they’ll stay in good shape for a long time. Would definitely recommend!

Quality issue
Sadly one of the 17.5 lb weights was really a 20 pounder in a 17.5 lb cover. Couldn’t exchange it due to repacking challenges so I got a partial credit, but single 17.5 lb weights are hard to find. Know that the hand grip gets bigger with the weight size. If your hands are small, the 20 lb weights may be uncomfortable to grip. The stand is fine. Easy to put together. The rubber part of the cradle often falls off. You might glue it on. Didn’t notice any lasting odor.

Adequately Holds the Typically Sized Dumbbells
I gave this rack 5 stars because I did not see a better rack sold on Amazon, and this rack fulfills the need. It was relatively simple to assemble in about 45 minutes. The rack is sturdy and compact in size. I measured the maximum height of the rack at 26 and 3/8 inches which matches the dimensions shown on Amazon at 66 cm. The actual height may be shorter than what is represented in the photographs describing the rack. My photo shows dumbbells 12, 20, 25, and 35 pounds accommodated by this rack. Heavy (big) dumbbells (for example over 25 pounds) only fit on the lower racks and the upper racks are for less heavy (smaller) dumbbells such as 8 to 12 pounds. The reason the big dumbbells only fit on the lower racks is because the ends of the larger dumbbells interfere with one another. I placed a plywood board under the rack to provide additional stability on my carpet.

Wrong lock nuts provided for assembly
Assembly required. The bolts did not fit with the lock nuts. Had to go out and buy the proper sized lock nuts. Avoid purchasing this product.

I was looking for a very specific dumbbell stand, I needed a stand for smaller dumbbells (1-5kg those that are usually coated with neoprene), it had to be solid and compact – there were many options which did not look so promising, or others that were too large or where the neoprene dumbells with the thicker handlers would not fit correctly – then I have found this stand, which looks like a mini version of the larger stands, and could accept neoprene dumbells (the distance/space between the the dumbell handle pockets is far enough to position them comfortabely). only setback was that it was shipping from the US. and is not available from any other sellers that were located in Germany or even Europe. I made the order and waited, hoping to not need to make a complicated return. it arrived quicker than anticipated in Germany (about a week and a half).I must say, after finishing the assembly, it was well worth the wait!The stand comes disassembled, so you need to put it together your self (it is not a problem at all – just take your time and do not be in stress and it will go smoothly), all the parts were there, nothing was missing, the painted parts were still in good shape – nothing was bent and no spots in the paint were damaged during transport (I also assume either very good QC or just shear luck), the thickness of the steel is very good and for such a small stand means it will be super solid and won’t wobble or get bent from the weight. quality is very good, the plastic/nylon parts that are supplied for padding the dumbell handle pockets are thick and absorb well (so no metal to metal contact even if your handles are metal). I just finished putting it together but for this type of product I can already know that it will serve it’s purpose for a long time. I can totally recommend. English is not my native language so excuse any mistakes

Plastic edge guards for the weights do not come pre-installed / glued on like other models. They end up coming loose and ending up on your floor as you pull weights off the rack. Buy a different model.
